  • Are there any limits to making Mobile Deposits?

    Yes, limits are as follows: Consumer Internet Banking Login
    • $2,500 per day
    • 15 items per month
    • $7,500 per month
    Business Internet Banking Login
    • $5,000 per day
    • 50 items per month
    • $25,000 per month

  • Are there any fees with Mobile Deposit?

    The first 4 deposits per statement cycle are free, then charged $1.00 for each mobile deposit thereafter.

  • Am I eligible for Mobile Deposit immediately after opening my account?

    No, a 60 day waiting period is imposed before granting access to Mobile Deposit.

  • Are there any special instructions for endorsing the check?

    Yes, you will be required to write “For Mobile Deposit Only” and sign below in order for the deposit to be accepted.

  • What time is the daily cutoff for the deposit to be made on a business day?

    Daily cutoff time is 6pm CT. All checks must be submitted and approved to process for next day credit. All checks deposited after 6pm CT will be processed the following business day.

  • How quickly will I have access to the mobile deposit funds?

    If made prior to the daily cutoff time, the funds will typically be available the next business day. Funds deposited will not show in your available balance immediately.

  • Can my mobile deposit privileges be revoked?

    Yes, mobile deposit may be terminated at any time by the Bank for any reason deemed necessary without prior notification.

  • Are there any checks that I cannot deposit using mobile deposit?

    Yes, here are some examples of checks that cannot be deposited:

    • Checks payable to any person or entity other than the person or entity that owns the account that the check is being deposited into.
    • Checks payable jointly, unless deposited into an account in the name of all payees.
    • Checks with any endorsement on the back other than that specified in this Agreement.
    • Checks containing obvious alteration to any of the fields on the front of the check, or which you know or suspect, or should know or suspect, are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check is drawn.
    • Checks drawn on a financial institution located outside the United States.
    • Checks not payable in United States currency.
    • Checks dated more than 75 days prior to the date of deposit or future-dated checks.
    • Checks that are in any way incomplete.
    • Checks prohibited by the Bank’s current procedures relating to the Service or which are otherwise not acceptable under the terms of your Account Agreement.
    • Checks on which the numerical and written amount are different.
    • Checks that have been previously returned unpaid by the financial institution on which they are drawn, including substitute, remotely created checks, stop payment, non-sufficient funds, or account closed checks.
    • Checks that are payable to cash.
    • Checks that have previously submitted through the Service or through a remote deposit capture service offered at any other financial institution.
    • Money orders, Savings Bonds, or Foreign checks
    • Checks that are illegible in any way.

  • Are there any tips for taking a photo of the check?

    Be sure that the image is clear and captures the entirety of each side of the check including the MICR line at the bottom of the front side. Failure to do so will result in a check that can’t be deposited.

  • What if the check I deposit doesn’t clear the bank of the person who paid me?

    If the check is returned to the bank for insufficient funds or any other reason, the bank will notify you at your email address on file and your account will be debited for the amount of the check and any associated fees. If the account you deposited the check to does not have sufficient funds, the bank has the right to debit any other account you have with our bank in our sole discretion.   • What should I do with the check after making the deposit via mobile deposit?

    After you receive confirmation that we have received an image, you must securely store the original Check for 14 days after transmission to us and make the original Check accessible to us at our request. Upon our request from time to time, you will deliver to us within two Business Days, at your expense, the requested original Check in your possession. If not provided in a timely manner, such amount will be reversed from your account. Promptly after the 14-day retention period expires, you must destroy the original Check by first marking it "VOID" and then destroying it by cross-cut shredding or another commercially acceptable means of destruction. After destruction of the original Check, the image will be the sole evidence of the original Check. You agree that you will never re-present the original Check. You understand that you are responsible if anyone is asked to make a payment based on an original check that has already been paid.

  • What happens if I present the check more than once?

    Mobile deposit services may be terminated by the bank and your account may be closed at our sole discretion. Once you have used the Service to deposit a Check you agree not to present, or allow anyone else to present, that original Check or a substitute check of that original Check again for deposit through the Service or by any other means. If you or anyone else present a Check or substitute check for deposit more than once, in violation of this Agreement, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold the Bank harmless from and against all liability and damages that may result from any claims, suits or demands from third parties with respect to such Check or substitute check. You agree that we may debit from your Bank account the aggregate amount of any Checks that that are deposited more than once. To the extent that funds in your account are insufficient to cover such amount, we shall debit the deficiency amount from any other of your account(s) with the Bank in our sole discretion.

  • How do I remove my accounts from Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA)?

    Contact the bank and ask to be removed.

Mobile Check Deposits are subject to verification and not available for immediate withdrawal. In the Mobile Banking app, select Remote Deposit, then Review Deposits to see pending deposits. Deposits made will be credited to your account on the next business day.
